BASKETBALL:

• The Ocean View boys beat Canyon to advance to the Southern California Division III finals.

• During the Regional finals Saturday, the Mater Dei girls, who beat Edison will play Brea Olinda, who beat Hanford.

• The Troy girls lost to Long Beach Poly, Foothill lost to Marlborough and Woodbridge lost to Inglewood.

SOCCER:

• The El Toro boys were stopped by El Camino Real.

• The San Clemente girls beat Los Alamitos in a big game for the second time in five days.

• Pacifica has a new coach.
