Tustin coach Myron Miller has a youth camp this summer. It’s a two-day skills camp — July 30 and 31 — for boys and girls, ages 6-13. Cost is $30 a day or $55 for both days.

Anybody remember the Southern California Sun football team, of the WFL, that played at Anaheim Stadium in the mid-’70s? Patton was a linebacker on that team, after starring at Mater Dei and Notre Dame.

Dave White’s Youth Football Camp will be held July 13-16 at Edison High, where White is the head coach of the consistently successful Chargers program. The camp is for grades third through eighth. It is a non-contact, skills-oriented camp. Pre-registration is $150 through July 6.
