Outlook: Perhaps the most interesting opener of Week 0. ... At least it is in my mind.
On one side, we have the Dolphins, who are trying to crack the top three in the South Coast League.
On the other side, there are the Eagles, who are coming off of two down years in the Trinity League, where the top three (Servite, Orange Lutheran and Mater Dei) have gotten stronger.

Football: San Clemente's Rettig to miss opener
August 28th, 2009, 4:48 pm by CARLOS ARIASSan Clemente quarterback Chase Rettig, who has committed to Boston College, is not expected to play in the Sept. 4 season-opening game at El Camino of Oceanside.
Tritons coach Eric Patton said Rettig has a back injury and is questionable for the game.
Rettig, a transfer from La Salle of Pasadena, is expected to be back in time for San Clemente's second game Sept. 18 at home against Trabuco Hills.
