Today is signing day

April 12th, 2011, 8:13 am by

Today is the first day of a National Letter of Intent signing period for basketball, baseball, softball, wrestling, women’s water polo, volleyball, golf, tennis and lacrosse. Most athletes in those sports already signed during the early period in November, but we still will have some key ones signing Wednesday and beyond.

We don’t want to miss any of the signings, so if you — coach, player, parent, relative, friend — know of a boys basketball signing or a signing ceremony/event, please let us know via email at preps@ocregister.com. Please include photos of the student-athlete as well.

Thank you, and have a fine day.
