Kaley Dodson scored from 6 meters out with 45 seconds left as No. 4 Los Alamitos continued its impressive run here at the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions with a 10-9 victory against No. 3 Newport Harbor.
So the slightly-surprising finals-pairing will pit seventh-seeded LosAl against fourth-seeded Dos Pueblos. Final should start around 5 p.m.
Slightly surprising? Well, Dos Pueblos had lost at full-strength to CdM earlier in the season. And Los Al was playing very well before this tournament but thee Griffins were the No. 7 seed.

Dos Pueblos star Kiley Neushul (dislocated thumb) didn't play in the Holiday Cup last month but she is expected to be in action this weekend at the Santa Barabara Tournament of Champions. The sophomore is a big difference maker and her return certainly could impact No. 1 Corona del Mar.
