Lemon is a real ball-hawk and has excellent speed. He is very good addition for the Aztecs.

Escobar is an interesting prospect. Jacot said the Aztecs recruited him to play tight end but also plan to flex him out in the slot.

And World is the latest product of private coach Nick Stremick (Mater Dei/Oregon State). Stremick has worked with Aaron Corp (Orange Lutheran/USC) among others.

Santa Margarita's cornerback AJ Cruz has committed to Brown.

The Register's defensive player of the year said the Aztecs recruited him as an athlete.King said he could be used on punt returns as a freshman.  Cornerback and receiver also are possibilities.

King has quite a recruiting story. He wasn't receiving much recruiting interest in early December but things picked up for him late. The key turning point might have been receiving an preferred walk-on from USC.

He was the CIF-Southern Section Southeast Division and Freeway League player of the year last season as a junior. Hillman, who produced more than 2,000 all-purpose yards in 2007, is listed as a receiver, although he had more carries than catches in '07. He will line up at various places on the field to get him the ball in areas where he can go one-on-one against a defender – a cruel mismatch. Hillman also is a standout kick returner. He committed to San Diego State.
