Football rankings: Pac-5 Division

football_blogNotre Dame and Lakewood are no longer tied at No. 4 in the Pac-5 rankings.

Dana Hills jumps over Los Alamitos, which lost last week, and Orange Lutheran returns to the poll this week at No. 10.

The big three of Edison, Mission Viejo and Servite remained unchanged this week, but will that be the case next week?

Football rankings: Pac-5 Division

football_blog6The top three teams in the Pac-5 rankings remain unchanged from last week, but Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks and Lakewood are now tied for fourth place.

JSerra is out of the Top 10, one week after breaking into it.

 Dana Hills moves in, as does Long Beach Millikan, which defeated Long Beach Poly in Week 7.

Football rankings: Pac-5 Division

football_blog4No changes in the Pac-5 top five.  Los Alamitos drops two spots to No. 8. Newport Harbor enters the top 10 this week after defeating the Griffins.

Bishop Amat is up one spot.

There is a Trinity League team ranked ninth ... and it isn't Mater Dei, Orange Lutheran, St. John Bosco or Santa Margarita.

Next week, I expect changes. In fact, I demand changes.

Orange Lutheran falls five spots after losing to Redlands East Valley.

Los Alamitos is up three spots and Fountain Valley debuts in the top 10, as does Newport Harbor. Long Beach Poly is out.

football_blog7Orange Lutheran moved up one spot to fourth after defeating Tustin, giving us an all-OC top four! Crespi fell three spots after Servite dealt with them. And after a 31-13 victory over Centennial of Corona, Mater Dei is .... still unranked. Long Beach Poly is ranked.

Notre Dame takes this week's biggest drop, falling from No. 2 to No. 6 after losing to Moorpark.

Crespi, which is Servite's opponent this week, moves up to fourth.

The Jackrabbits fell to fifth.

Loyola jumped into the rankings, while Mater Dei is nowhere to be found.

Poll: Who will win the Pac-5 Division?

Only three teams in Orange County still are undefeated. One of them is Tesoro, which will play for the Pac-5 Division championship on Saturday against a non-county team with an unblemished record: Long Beach Poly.
