December 18th, 2012, 10:35 pm by

Los Alamitos All-County water polo player and U.S. youth team member Chandler Jarrels has committed to Cal, he confirmed late Tuesday night.

Jarrels, a first-team All-County pick, delivered a stellar 2012. The hard-throwing senior netted 111 goals and played a true utility position for the Griffins.

He also gives Cal another first-team All-County pick. Earlier this year, the signed Farrel South of Newport Harbor, an All-County standout in 2011.
