University’s Corey Okubo and Kennedy’s Ryan Kao might be the front-runners but how about Capistrano Valley’s Spencer DeShon and Jack DesCombes?

The Mustangs inched closer to securing a playoff spot with a dominant 31-6 victory over Kennedy. QB Brandon Summers connected with Chad Pace for 2 TD while Angel Ochoa rushed for 2 TD.

The North has added a pair of defensive linemen to its roster for the Brea Lions Orange County North-South Prep All-Star Football Game at Orange Coast College on July 6.
The linemen are Kennedy’s Aaron Tiafau (5-11, 240) and Brea Olinda’s Issa Abuelnasr (6-1, 235), North coach Dusan Ancich of Villa Park reports.
The duo replaces La Habra’s Tony Casados and Western’s Pale Silivelio.
Tickets to the game can be purchased at the practices or by calling 714-978-0333.
