Servite is opening up its preseason camp by hosting a 144-player sleepover for the next three nights. It’s called “Camp Week,” and it’s been a Servite tradition since 1960.
Troy Niklas thinks it’s going to be a long week because of something he forgot to pack. Returning All-County linebacker Matt Inman makes sure he never leaves home without one item. And big man Wyatt Baker learned from last year’s mistake, and he brought a bigger bed this time to accommodate his needs.

No. 1 Servite takes on No. 3 Edison on Friday night at a time when the Friars are playing their best. Their offense is led by quarterback Cody Fajardo and running back/wide receiver Chris Nicholls. The defense is controlled by lineman Karifi Taula and defensive back Michael Marcoux.
