The Indians (16-7, 10-2) scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to defeat rival La Habra 8-7.
Fullerton now leads La Habra by two games in the Freeway League.
This week I am picking the Top 5 Series of the Week. Here is one of them:

Outlook: A lot can change from week to week in baseball. Just ask the Fullerton Indians.
Last week, Fullerton had a three-game lead in the Freeway League. Then the Indians were swept by Sonora and all of a sudden, there is a fight for the league title.
In the Freeway League on Friday:
The Freeway League baseball race has suddenly tightened up.
Heading into this week, Fullerton looked to be on cruise control, headed toward an easy first-place finish.
However, that was before Sonora swept a two-game series from the Indians, finishing it with an 8-2 victory Friday at Fullerton High.
