<p><strong>At the Temecula Valley Invitational: </strong></p>
<p>Calvary Chapel was the highest placing county team with at 10th place finish. The Church Boyz had five medal winners, including champion Morgan McIntosh at 171 pounds. McIntosh, who was also selected Upper Weight MVP, recorded three victories by pin, one by technical fall and another by major decision.</p>

<p><strong>At the West Covina Invitational</strong></p>
<p>El Modena recorded a fourth place finish, with 178.5 points. The Vanguards also had 11 individual medal winners, including three champions Mikey Nolasco (103), Kevin Barton (130) and Kevin Shannon (285).</p>
<p><strong>Other El Modena winners included:</strong></p>
<p>Andrew Mestas (112), third</p>
<p>Robby Labounty (112), sixth (B)</p>
<p>Daniel Flores (119), fourth</p>
<p>CJ Kantomer (140), fifth</p>
<p>Dan Ross (152), fourth</p>

<p>Nick Barrios (285), fourth (B)</p>
<p>Fullerton's Randall Hicks placed third at heavyweight.</p>

<p><strong>At the Arroyo Classic</strong></p>
<p>Fountain Valley won the tournament with 165 points. The Barons had six medal winners. Awwad Yasin (152) and Anthony Duarte (171) won their respective weight classes.Duarte earned Upper Weight MVP honors.</p>
<p>Kyle Larkin (112), Anthony Basquez (189) and Casey Smith (215) were all third at their weights and Sean Pitoniak was second at 130.</p>
<p><strong>The week ahead</strong></p>
<p>This is the final week of league duals, but there are still some matters that need to be decided.</p>
<p>Tuesday night, the battle of Santa Ana will take place when Santa Ana visits Calvary Chapel at 7 p.m. in a nonleague dual. See you there.</p>
<p>Later in the week, the South Coast League takes center stage because there's a 3-way tie that needs to be broken.</p>
<p>San Clemente, Mission Viejo and Capistrano Valley are all tied at 3-1. Thursday's schedule has San Clemente at Mission Viejo and Capistrano Valley at Tesoro.</p>
<p>San Clemente has already lost to Capistrano Valley who lost to Mission Viejo who lost to Dana Hills.</p>
