Yes, it appears that at the very least, one of the strongest returning rosters in Orange County and Southern Section is getting deeper.


Foothill athletic director Vince Brown confirmed moments ago that two foreign exchange players -- Andrea Vezzadini of Italy and Janko Jovanvic of Serbia - have enrolled at Foothill.

I have not spoken to Coach Jim Brumm but I hope to call him tonight. More details to come.

Water polo fans, of course, will remember that CdM has an outstanding goalie from Serbia.

Foothill (9-3) – Graduation took many of the Knights' top players from last year's team, but the replacements could be good ones.

DupreZach Griffith replaces all-league Chad Miller at quarterback, and among his targets will be returning all-league receiver Brandon Dupre, left, who had 19 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns in 2007. The Knights will be strong at linebacker, with three all-league returnees: Richard Song (65 tackles); Jordan Winger (122 tackles, also All-CIF Southwest Division); and James Song (70 tackles).
