<p>Newport also was quick with a 1:36.30. Yucaipa was a No. 4 seed but appears to have some depth issues - Yuc touched in 1:48.30 for last in their heat.</p>
<p>That means Newport, Edison, CdM and Capo could bebig-time title contenders here. Newport already has 20 points in the bank from Clay Pinckney's diving title on Tuesday.</p>
