Now, what was everyone waiting for? Oh, yeah, the Southwest shakeup.
Last week, No. 3 La Habra defeated No. 1 Fullerton 24-7, and many expected the Highlanders to take over the No. 1 spot in the new poll.
Right? Right? Wrong. Check out how the coaches and selected media members voted in this week's poll.
Westminster and Garden Grove both jumped three spots in this week's poll.
The Lions are ranked ahead of the Argonauts, but we all know what happened Sept. 12. (That's right, the Argonauts beat the Lions).
Meanwhile, Santiago dropped four spots. Laguna Hills wrapped its regular season with a perfect 9-0 record.
Saddleback Valley Christian, the Best Kept Secret of the small schools, is 9-0 after its 61-6 victory over Ribet Academy last week.
So forget about anyone knocking the Warriors out of the No. 1 spot any time soon.
