
Mater Dei and its USC-bound duo of Max Wittek and Victor Blackwell has claimed the 2010 Air Strike title with a 25-19 victory against Los Alamitos at Dana Hills, OCVarsity’s Chris Tobolski reports.
Mater Dei and quarterback Max Wittek will take on Los Al and quarterback Dylan Lagarde in the finals of the Air Strike passing tournament coming up at 3 p.m. at Dana Hills, Chris Tobolski of OCVarsity.com reports.
In the semifinals, Mater Dei edged Roosevelt, 26-24, while Los Alamitos defeated Long Beach Poly, 20-14.
A Roosevelt player dropped a potential score-tying 2-point conversion in the final two minutes. Los Al, meanwhile, rallied from a 14-6 deficit.
