Football video: Tustin overwhelms Canyon

Anthony Wilkerson was great, as usual, with 142 yards rushing and three TDs, but it was Tustin's defense that dominated the action as the Tillers defeated Canyon, 34-8, on Thursday night. The Tillers intercepted Canyon QB Beau Perry five times, including two picks by Avery Lynch. Dominic Coulter returned one interception for a touchdown.

Baseball: Hoggatt staying at Canyon

Joe Hoggatt will remain Canyon's baseball coach at least through the 2010 season, Hoggatt confirmed today via email. Hoggatt had lost his teaching position at Canyon during district budget reductions, but last week was offered a full schedule of classes and accepted. Hoggatt has been Canyon's baseball head coach for nine seasons.
