OLu’s Rinehart commits to Cal Baptist

Orange Lutheran senior third baseman/pitcher Brad Rinehart has committed to Cal Baptist, Lutheran coach Eric Borba announced.

Rinehart participated on the Lancers varsity last season in a backup role. The next signing period for baseball begins April 17.

Baseball signings, late adds

The one-week early signing period for several sports continues through Wednesday.

Some recently-announced baseball signes …

Cypress third baseman Steven Lohr signed with Cal Baptist. He batted .362 with 25 RBIs this past spring, and was named All-Empire League.

Capistrano Valley catcher Aaron Barnett signed with Pepperdine. He was the Cougars’ starting catcher last season.

Orange Lutheran catcher Matt Stumme signed with Westmont. He was All-Trinity League second team last season.
