Football is a big part of the picture for each of the four semifinalists in fan voting for Orange County’s top boys athletes. But there is a lot more to each of the candidates than football.
One played basketball and ran track this season, even though he has a Division I football scholarship locked up. Another is on his way to Arizona on a baseball scholarship. And two of the semifinalists are among the top track and field athletes in the county.
All four are great choices, but now you have to cast your votes to help pick the finalists.
Who’s your pick in the semifinals for the fans’ choice as Orange County’s boys athlete of the year, La Habra’s Ronnie Hillman or Newport Harbor’s Cecil Whiteside?
