October 16th, 2008, 2:47 pm by Damian Calhoun, OCVarsity.com since 2004

When you have Mater Dei-Servite and Mission Viejo-Tesoro. The only tougher league opener was Texas and Oklahoma last week.

We're moving into Week 6 in our staff football predictions contest at OCVarsity.com. Now, we're going to separate the winners from the losers, the champs from the chumps.

Art Casas still has a one-game lead in the standings. Jason Eichelberger went J.T. O'Sullivan last week and went 3-5. Jon Kay is still hanging in there. Albano is on a roll; no word if he's going Rambo on us this week.

Now the picks....

OCVarsity staff picks: Don't mess with Albano

October 9th, 2008, 11:21 am by Damian Calhoun, OCVarsity.com since 2004

Congratulations go out to Dan Albano for being the only one to pick Edison over Mater Dei last week. He wanted 10 bonus victories for that, but I wasn't buying what he was trying to sell.

We are now heading into Week 5 of our staff contest here at OCVarsity.com.

Now, the picks....
