Wrestling: Dual Meet Championships …what, when and where
February 6th, 2012, 5:39 pm by Damian CalhounThe CIF-SS Dual Meet Championships are next on the agenda. In case you weren’t aware, teams are not obligated to participate.
In the past, the top two teams from each league following the dual season, were then sent off to the dual meet championships.
Some teams went in favor, others went reluctantly.
No matter which side of the fence you sit, I think this current format works.
Although, I would also be in support of eliminating the one-day tournament altogether.

Wrestling: League finals on tap this weekend
January 31st, 2012, 3:50 pm by Damian CalhounThe first step toward the CIF State Tournament begins this weekend with all of the league finals.
Following league finals, there will be CIF Duals on Feb. 11; CIF Individuals, Feb. 17-18; CIF-SS Masters Feb. 24-25 and then the CIF State Tournament.
Here is this weekend’s schedule.
Coaches are asked to submit the complete final results of their league finals to preps@ocregister.com and dcalhoun@ocregister.com as soon as possible.
