Four members of the Los Alamitos Girls soccer team signed letters of intent Wednesday.

Goalie Jordan Santos (San Jose State),  forward-midfielder Katie Suits (Cal), center midfielder Anne Wethe (UC San Diego), and defender Melanie Green (Westmont).

Four members of the defending CIF-SS Division I girls soccer champion Mater Dei Monarchs signed their letters of intent today. Justyne Frued (Oregon State), Taylor Jones (Oregon), Alyssa Oldham (UC Santa Barbara), and Claire Schloemer (USC).

Monarch Coach Matty West had this to say about each of his four seniors.

•  Justyne Freud:  “I am extremely proud of Justyne as she is traveling to Oregon State to display her leadership and athletic skills.  I look forward to watching her development in the competitive PAC-10.”

• Taylor Jones:  “Taylor is such a great girl who is going to a great school, the University of Oregon.  The Ducks are getting a dedicated student-athlete who is going to make a tremendous impact.”
