Estancia senior Nushin Tasbihchi has inked a letter of intent to attend Cal Poly Pomona.
She was a second team all-league midfielder for the Eagles last season and has helped Estancia to a current position of second place in the Orange Coast league this season.

University middle linebacker Michael Lancaster (6-3, 215) has committed to Duquesne, his father, Tom, said in an e-mail Thursday.
Lancaster visited the Northeast Conference school last weekend.
He also had a scholarship offer from Division II Pace University in New York and received interest from Marist and Northern Arizona, Tom Lancaster said.

Boys water polo recruiting: Cal raids Orange County

It has been a very busy National Signing Day - for football and, of course, water polo. Wednesday was the first day that male water polo players and football players could sign a letter of intent.
Mater Dei - including Register player of the year Alex Wherry - reported its signings. So did Esperanza's Daniel Lenhart. Nick Rascon of El Toro plans on signing Thursday.
I have more work to do on confirming signings, but I can offer my list of water polo commits/signings for 2010. Take notice of Cal, the Golden Bears are raiding Orange County big time with five excellent recruits.
