FULLERTON - Valencia had one goal during Monday's quarterfinal playoff match: Attack the Brea Olinda defenders early and often, using as many different players as possible. And that they did.
At first the Wildcats' keeper was up to the task, turning away two point-blank shots, both taken by Valencia's Henry Marquez.

The Southern California Blues' 15 and 16-and-under girls soccer teams and West Coast Futbol Club's 14-and-under boys were among the squads that claimed titles at the U.S. Western Regional Youth Soccer Championships on Sunday in Lancaster.
