We have sent out surveys to coaches, and/or they are available online at ocvarsity.com, so we can prepare previews for the coming fall sports season.
We need rosters, mug shots, schedules ... and we need them to cover the teams. Anyway you can, prod your teams' coaches to cooperate. We want to cover your athletes.
Some of the greatest men's distance runners in Southern California history are getting together at Roscoe's Famous Deli in Fullerton on Saturday, starting at 7:30 p.m., to talk about good times past and present.
Ralph Serna, a fantastic distance champ at Loara in the 1970s, will be there and organized the event.
Also scheduled to show is Thom Hunt, who ran at Patrick Henry of San Diego and had the high school indoor mile record for decades.
There likely will be some of Orange County's other all-time greats, too.
