The All-County picks in swimming won’t be easy. Have you checked out the competition for girls swimmer of the year?
Well, the boys competition looks pretty tough, too.
University’s Corey Okubo and Kennedy’s Ryan Kao might be the front-runners but how about Capistrano Valley’s Spencer DeShon and Jack DesCombes?
See if you can pick one, or you can check out a co-swimmer of the year option that has been added:
Villa Park junior defensive end/tight end Louis Vecchio (6-4, 240) has been offered by Colorado, he said in a text message Wednesday.
Vecchio has 25 receptions for almost 300 yards last season for the CIF Southwest Division runner-ups.
He also 60 total tackles and three sacks.
Vecchio is definitely a recruit to keep an eye on. In February, Colorado signed Orange Lutheran offensive lineman Colin Sutton.
