I made my pick earlier today on the OCVarsity Gridiron Show for the Battle for the Bell football game. I'm picking Edison over Fountain Valley in a close game between two special teams.
It was a tough call. I like the Barons' offense and chemistry but I like Edison's defense and motivation.
But who do you think will win Friday?
If there is a three-way tie for third place in the Pacific Coast League boys water polo race between Beckman, Laguna Hills and University, a playoff has been planned for Friday at Beckman.
University athletic director Mark Cunningham said University and Beckman would play at 3 p.m. The winner would play Laguna Hills at 5 p.m.
But remember, this only happens in the event of a three-way tie for third place in the Division I league.

Servite's water polo team won't have its fine coach, Mustafa Hassan, for today's Trinity League showdown against visiting JSerra because he received a red card in the Friars' last game, which was at the Hank Vellekamp No. 2 Tournament on Saturday.
Servite also has forfeited that Katella match because it didn't have a certified coach to replace Hassan after he received the red card, said CIF-SS spokesman Thom Simmons in an e-mail.

Los Amigos boys water polo captured its third consecutive outright Garden Grove League title with 25-4 victory against Bolsa Grande on Tuesday night.
The Lobos also extended their league winning streak to 14 consecutive matches.
Coach Tim Brogdon's squad is ranked fourth this week in Division VII.
