Santa Margarita safety RJ Mazolewski (5-10, 182) has committed to Cal Poly SLO, he confirmed.

Mazolewski is headed to the FCS contender as a preferred walk-on but don’t be surprised if he works his way onto scholarship. He’s a playmaker who continued to improve at Santa Margarita. He finished second in total tackles for Santa Margarita with 123 in 2012. He also had three interceptions and broke up five passes.

He could end playing safety or outside linebacker for Cal Poly SLO.
