Outlook: The top-seeded Seahawks and Coach  Melissa Fernandez have advanced to the semifinals for the first time. Ocean View’s run has been powered by alert counterattack and solid defense. The offensive is led by

senior center Brynne McNabb, an ex-softball player who features a hard shot. Sisters Alyssa and Elena Isogawa are crafty attackers who can rack up assists and draw exclusions. Chino, champions of the Mt. Baldy League, were ranked seventh in the final Division 7 coaches poll but upset No. 4 seeded La Sierra, 9-4, in the quarterfinals. Chino senior Celine Cadle has been an explosive scorer. She scored 10 goals in a 20-4 victory against Nogales in the first round.
