Outlook: The second-seeded Warriors are looking to reach the finals after falling to Los Osos of Rancho Cucamonga, 15-11, in last season’s Division 4 semifinals. In the way is third-seeded Los Altos and prolific scorer Stephanie Contreras.

Earlier this month, the senior became the Southern Section’s all-time goal scorer. “If we can slow down their best player, I think we stand a good chance,” Troy coach Jason Wilson said in a text message of the matchup. Troy counters Contreras with five players who have scored at least 40 goals: Minna Mattis (46), Grace Schade (46), Christyne Eck (57), Shannon Grossman (68) and Alison Lany (77).
