
CIF-SS Division 4 girls water polo playoffs: County outlook, O.C. players to watch
COUNTY OUTLOOK
Tuesday wild card
Buena Park: The Coyotes claimed an at-large entry in the Freeway League and play at Del Rio League No. 3 Whittier.
Mission Viejo: The Diablos, the third-place team from Sea View League, play host to San Marino, the No. 3 from the Rio Hondo. Mission Viejo is 9-18 but have some close losses and an upset win against Aliso Niguel.
La Habra: The Highlanders were a competitive third in the Freeway League. They play host to Sea View League at-large Capistrano Valley on Wednesday.
Capistrano Valley: Cougars claimed an at-large berth in the Sea View League.
First round Thursday
Sunny Hills: The Freeway League runner-up claimed the No. 5 seed and a home date against Aliso Niguel in a spotlight game. The Lancers own, 11-9, and, 11-8, victories against the Wolverines.
Aliso Niguel: The Wolverines will be a tough out. They beat Tesoro to prevent the Titans’ perfect run in the Sea View.
Tesoro: The Titans captured their first ever league title and the No. 7 overall seed.
Troy: Freeway League champions are seeded second to Bonita. Warriors play host to Cal in the first round.
