Girls soccer: Thursday’s recap (1-24-13)

Here is a look at Thursday’s results from around the county.

In the Freeway League:

No. 3 Sunny Hills 9, Fullerton 0: Sarah Fajnor recorded a hat trick and added an assist, as the host Lancers (16-1-5; 5-0-1) defeated the Indians. Megan Villaescusa scored twice and added an assist for Sunny Hills.

In the Trinity League:

Santa Margarita 3, Rosary 1: Samantha Trenary scored a goal and added an assist, as the host Eagles (5-4-3, 2-0-1) rallied to a win over the Royals (7-7-5; 0-3-1). Kassidy Gorman and Lauren Rodriguez also scored for Santa Margarita.

In the Century League:

El Modena 2, El Dorado 1: Malia Tilton tallied two first half goals to lead the host Vanguards (7-12-1; 1-7) past the Golden Hawks (6-13; 1-8).

In the Orange League:

Century 3, Magnolia 0: Jocelyn Barroso scored twice to pace the Centurions over the Sentinels (0-15-1; 0-4-1) at Century High.

In the Orange Coast League:

Godinez 4, Costa Mesa 0: Sandy Jiminez scored two goals in the Grizzlies (12-1-3; 5-0-1) home victory over the Mustangs.

Calvary Chapel 2, Saddleback 1: First half goals from Kelsey Rivas and Carolyne Marquez were enough to get the Eagles (6-6-6; 3-2-1) a win over the Roadrunners (9-4-3; 3-2-1) at Centennial Park.

In the Golden West League:

Ocean View 3, Santa Ana 2: Jade Kratovil had a goal and two assists in the Seahawks (7-7-1, 2-3-1) overtime win over the Saints (7-7-3; 1-4-1) at Ocean View High.

Westminster 3, Orange 1: Behind a goal and two assists from Rochelle Camarena, the host Lions (10-5-2; 3-2-1) knocked off the Panthers.

In the South Coast League:

No. 3 Aliso Niguel 2, Tesoro 2: Goals from Lindsey Doyle and Lauren Miller helped the Wolverines (8-3-5; 1-1-4) play the Titans (4-9-4; 0-4-2) to a tie at Tesoro High.
