Laguna Hills tight end/defensive end Peter Eggert (6-4, 227) has committed to Dartmouth of the Ivy League, the senior reports.

He also was recruited by Air Force, San Diego and Georgetown. Dartmouth recruited him to play tight end.

“It was a real difficult decision,” Eggert said in an e-mail Friday. ” I had to weigh the other offers I received from Air Force (at DE), University of San Diego (TE) and Georgetown (OLB), which were all unbelievable, but in the end I just could not pass up the the opportunity to go to school at Dartmouth, play for Coach Teevens and compete in the Ivy League. I truly feel blessed!”
