Tesoro kicker Zach Schottenfeld (6-2, 170) has committed to Utah, reports Brad Bohn, the senior’s kicking coach with West Coast Kicking Academy.
Schottenfeld will compete for the Utes’ starting place-kicking position this fall, Bohn said in an e-mail.
“Zach is a very determined, focused and hard-working young man whose mental toughness and technique made him attractive to Division 1 colleges,” Bohn wrote. “He will have tremendous success at the collegiate level.”
