Football recruiting: Aliso Niguel QB to visit Division 2 school

Prolific Aliso Niguel quarterback Nathan Cole (6-4, 220) has been offered by Division 2 Minnesota Crookston, the senior said in a text message.

Cole plans to take an official recruiting trip the university Jan. 17.

“It would be great because they have an aviation program and that is what I want to study,” he wrote in a text message.

Cole passed for 3,240 yards and 37 touchdowns this past season.

Minnesota Crookston finished 2-8 in 2012.
