LA PALMA – Three minutes doesn’t seem like a significant amount of time in an 80 minute-boys soccer game, but those 180 seconds completely changed Cypress’ Empire League match against host Kennedy.

Jesus Ibarra, Napoleon Velasquez and Jordan Hunter each scored a goal from the 72nd to the 75^th minute, turning a close a game on Monday into an easy, 5-1, triumph for the Fighting Irish.
