
Los Alamitos’ Mason Kumashiro (195) is in the semifinals at the Doc Buchanan Invitational in Clovis. Kumashiro won his first two matches of the tournament by fall and defeated Josh Bailey from Frontier, 6-3 in the quarters.
Kumashiro will face Taryn Christiansen of El Molina in the semifinals. Kumashiro is the top seed at 195.
Max Kumashiro is alive in the consolation bracket at 182.
Also at the tournament, Laguna Hills has four in the consolations: Martin Garcia (106), Wyond Mills (145), Joe Applegate (160) and Jose Ballesteros (285).
