In the Sunset League:
No. 6 Edison 1, Newport Harbor 0: Mackenzie Cerda scored the lone goal of the match in the second half to lift the Chargers (9-3-1, 1-0) past the visiting Sailors (2-10-2; 0-1).
Los Alamitos 2, Marina 0: First half goals from Hannah Goldsmith and Rachel Price propelled the Griffins (6-3-5; 1-0) over the Vikings (2-9-3, 0-1) at Marina High.
Huntington Beach 3, Fountain Valley 2: Kassidy Simpkins tallied the match deciding goal in the second half, as the host Oilers (6-2-3; 1-0) edged the Barons (5-5-3; 0-1). Lindsay Archer and Lana Bermel also scored for Huntington Beach. Madison Gomez and Addie Espinoza each produced a goal for Fountain Valley.
In Nonleague:
Saddleback 4, Century 2: Lilibeth Torres recorded a hat trick, as the Roadrunners (6-3-1) knocked off the Centurions at Century High.
Segerstrom 4, Katella: Vivian Vega had two goals as the host Jaguars blanked the Knights (3-5-2) in a nonleague matchup. Cindy Maradiaga and Melissa Mazariegos each contributed a goal for Segerstrom (5-0).
Santa Ana Valley 8, Firebaugh/Lynwood 3: Genesis Alonso and Jessica Reyes scored three goals each as the Falcons (7-5) post the win.
Orange 2, Magnolia 0: Two second half goals from Linda Frias lifted the host Panthers (1-5) over the Sentinels (0-9).
Oxford Academy 3, St. Anthony 1: The host Patriots (6-2) received goals from Katie Ha, Kaitlyn Sachs, and Samar Raghib in their win over St. Paul.
Westminster 3, Costa Mesa 1: Breezy Frias scored twice and added an assist in the Lions (7-3-1) win over the Mustangs (1-6) at Westminster High.
