At the Mater Dei Premier Invitational:
No. 1 Aliso Niguel 1, Long Beach Wilson 0: A first half goal from Danica Koos propelled the Wolverines (6-1-1) to beat the Bruins.
No. 4 Dana Hills 1, Bishop Amat 1: A first half goal from Molly Regan helped the Dolphins (5-0-2) play to a tie against the Lancers.
No. 10 Los Alamitos 1, Foothill 0: Hannah Goldsmith’s second half goal was the difference, as the Griffins (4-2-2) edged the Knights (2-4-2).
Villa Park 1, Mission Viejo 0: Cassidy Hodson tallied the match-deciding goal late in the second half to lead the Spartans (6-2-1) past the Diablos (3-3). Goalie Breana Martinez had 10 saves for Villa Park.
Mater Dei 4, Beckman 0: Lauren Markwith scored twice, as the Monarchs (5-3-2) blanked the Patriots (3-3-2).
In the Freeway League:
No. 3 Sunny Hills 6, Fullerton 0: Sarah Fajnor scored twice to lead the Lancers (8-1-3; 1-0) past the host Indians (0-3-1; 0-1). Jordon Colocion, Jessica Lee, Stephany Munoz, and Kendra Serrano also scored goals for the Lancers.
In Nonleague:
No. 2 Corona del Mar 2, Newport Harbor 1: Second half goals from Emily Krebs and Brianna Westrup helped the Sea Kings (6-1) rally in the second half to defeat the Sailors (2-5-1) at Newport Harbor High.
No. 7 Capistrano Valley 2, Santa Margarita 0: Jordyn Bellanto and Alex Hussar tallied goals to lead the Cougars (5-1-1) over the Eagles (2-3) at Capistrano Valley High. Aubrie Coley had 10 saves in the win for Capistrano Valley.
Orange Lutheran 1, Charter Oak 1: Logan Karam’ s second half goal helped the Lancers tie Charter Oak at Alhambra High.
Rosary 1, University 0: Maddie McDonald’s second half goal led the Royals (4-4-3) to a win over the Trojans (5-2-1) at Fullerton College.
Fountain Valley 2, Saddleback 0: Addie Espinoza recorded a goal and an assist in the second half in the Barons’ (4-2-1) win over the Roadrunners (5-2-1) at Saddleback High. Madison Gomez also added a goal for Fountain Valley.
El Toro 2, West Torrance 1: The host Chargers (3-5) received goals from Kendall Thrall and Sarah Kettles in a victory over West Torrance.
Estancia 4, Oxford Academy 0: Second half goals from Haley Flores, Natalie Cortez, Alondra Guzman, and Jackie Hubbard spurred the Eagles (3-2-5) over the Patriots (2-2) at Estancia High.
Loara 2, Anaheim 0: Goals from Ivonne Murguia and Kassandra Murillo paced the Saxons (8-3-1) past the Colonists (0-4) at Anaheim High.
Garden Grove 4, Santa Ana Valley 2: Giselle Betancourt recorded a hat trick in the Argonauts victory over the Falcons (5-5) at Garden Grove High.
Kennedy 4, Magnolia 0: Brianna Viramontes, Sky Whitebear, Amanda Short, and Sariah Mendez notched goals, as the Fighting Irish (2-7-2) defeated the Sentinels (0-7) at Magnolia High.
Crean Lutheran 3, Calvary Chapel 0: Maddie Beavers scored twice in the Saints (5-2) home win over the Eagles (2-3-1).
