Mission Viejo football coach Bob Johnson has announced the schedule for the Mission Viejo Kickoff Classic, Sept. 13-14, 2013:

Sept. 13

Crenshaw vs. Loyola of Los Angeles, 4:30 p.m.

Long Beach Poly vs. Centennial Corona, 8 p.m. – Two 2012 state bowl game participants

Sept. 14

St. John Bosco vs. Chandler (Arizona), 4:30 p.m.

Mission Viejo vs. Don Bosco Prep, 8 p.m.

“It’s tremendous for the county,” Johnson said of the showcase.

“You can’t beat the second one (Friday). … I think (Mission Viejo-Bosco Prep) is a national game.”
