Santa Margarita standout golfer Beau Hossler was part of a Signing Day ceremony held at the school on Wednesday morning.

Hossler, the Register’s All-County boys golfer of the year in 2011-12, signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Texas.

The school’s ceremony included 11 athletes who either officially signed their letters or made verbal commitments to schools they plan to sign with later in the school year.

The list of athletes who took part in the ceremony:

Beau Hossler (boys golf): signed with the University of Texas.

Emily Loughlin (girls water polo): signed with Cal.

Jackie Villarreal (girls water polo): signed with San Diego State

Garrett Parsons (boys lacrosse): signed with Mercer University

Morgan Martinez (girls water polo): committed to UC Irvine

Matt Murphy (boys golf): committed to Cal State Fullerton

Austin Ponzi (baseball): committed to Long Beach State

Brittany Ptak (girls volleyball): committed to Princeton

Sophia Lavin (girls volleyball): committed to the University of San Diego

Sarah Maher (girls volleyball): committed to Emory University

Dani Geiger (girls volleyball): committed to UC Irvine
