St. Bonaventure of Ventura vs. Santa Margarita, a Pac-5 Division second-round playoff game, is at Trabuco Hills High on Friday at 7 p.m.

The venue at Trabuco Hills is superior to Santa Margarita’s usual home field, Saddleback College, in many ways, including sight lines for spectators. Trabuco has artificial turf, and Saddleback’s is natural grass.

If you park in the parking structure at Trabuco Hills, download on your cell phone a bright-flashlight app. The lights were turned off in that structure late Friday night, and it was very dark. I would have walked into a concrete pillar without my mega-duty cell phone light.
