Cypress’ boys water polo team will make its first semifinal appearance Wednesday when it plays No. 2 seeded Don Lugo of Chino at Ayala of Chino Hills at 5 p.m., Don Lugo athletic director Joe Marcos said an e-mail Monday.

The other Division 7 semifinal appears headed for Palisades High when Citrus Valley of Redlands takes on Brentwood.
