Here is a look at the action from the first week of the CIF-SS playoffs.

64 – Consecutive points scored by Mater Dei after falling behind Lakewood 10-7 Friday. The Monarchs would eventually win 71-10.

85.7 – Completion percentage by Mater Dei quarterback Chase Forrest (12-14) in the game. Forrest passed for 167 yards and four touchdowns.

4 – The number of interceptions by the Mater Dei defense and touchdowns by Thomas Duarte (Three receiving and one fumble recovery) in the victory.

2 – Interceptions returned for touchdowns by Mission Viejo’s Hunter Remington in Friday’s 42-10 victory over Westlake.

322 – Passing yards for El Toro quarterback Conner Manning, giving him 9,449 for his career.

21 – Consecutive points scored by St. John Bosco in the second half to help defeat Tesoro, 38-17.

202 – Rushing yards gained by Huntington Beach running back Bowen Breunig in Friday’s 34-17 victory over Capistrano Valley.

272 – Rushing yards gained by Newport Harbor running back Tala Teaupa in the 42-21 victory over Troy.

42 – Consecutive points scored by Newport Harbor after falling behind 10-0 in the first quarter.

181 – Rushing yards gained by Villa Park’s Meki Tafuna in the 21-12 victory over Yorba Linda. Tafuna scored a pair of touchdowns.

66.6 – Completion percentage by CdM’s Cayman Carter (20-30) in Thursday’s 35-0 victory over Anaheim. Carter passed for 280 yards and two touchdowns.

10 – Points scored in the fourth quarter by Foothill to defeat Laguna Hills 17-7.

223 – Rushing yards gained by Los Amigos running back Jerry Saldivar in the 41-14 victory over Estancia. Saldivar scored three touchdowns. Saldivar moved into the top spot in the county rushing race.

91 – Length of Terence Martinez’s touchdown on the first offensive play for Tustin in Friday’s 35-6 victory over El Dorado. Martinez finished with 208 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

392 – Rushing yards gained by Tustin in the game. The Tillers rushed for 231 in the first quarter.

2 – Rushing touchdowns scored by Valencia’s Levi Perez (25 and 55 yards) in the first quarter in Friday’s 31-13 victory over Sonora.

213 – Rushing yards gained by Segerstrom’s David Perkins in the 42-14 victory over Santa Ana Valley.

196 – Passing yards for Edison’s Alek Torgersen in Friday’s 27-3 victory over Esperanza.

9 – The number of times Edison has held an opponent to 10 points or less, following Friday’s 27-3 victory over Esperanza.

12 – The number of combined kickoff and punt returns for touchdowns by Laguna Beach after Robert Clemons III and Nathan Lancaster returned punts for scores in the 42-14 victory over Loara.

353 – Total yards gained by Whittier Christian quarterback Ryan Esslinger (155 rushing and 198 passing) in the 38-28 victory over Torrance.

5 – Touchdown passes for Northwood’ Kevin Norman in the 41-13 victory over Rancho Alamitos.
