Here are the Orange County teams in the Northeast Division
Capistrano Valley Christian (8-2) – The Eagles won their first six games of the season, before losing to Saddleback Valley Christian and Boron. To their credit, the Eagles regrouped and closed the season with victories over Xavier College Prep and Southlands Christian. The game against Southlands Christian was the night Ben Sukut showed off. Sukut, a freshman, intercepted four passes and returned them all for touchdowns (102 yards, 33, 30 and 46). Sukut also has 1,077 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. Sophomore quarterback Riley Babick has completed 148 of 235 passes (63 percent) for 2,035 yards with 18 touchdowns and five interceptions. Linebacker Joseph Brinkis leads the Eagles with 92 tackles.
Saddleback Valley Christian (6-4) – It was a slow start to the season for the Warriors as they lost their first three games and stood at 1-4 heading into San Joaquin League play. Things quickly turned around in league as the Warriors went 5-0 to win the league title. In their five league games, SVC has outscored the opposition by a combined score of 250-51. Leading the charge has been running back Forrest Lohman, Lohman, a senior has rushed for 1,817 yards, including a 379-yard performance in the final game of the regular season. Lohman has scored 24 touchdowns. He also has 94 tackles on defense. Quarterback Brandon Camarillo-Towles has passed for 1,346 yards with 12 touchdowns.
