Jessica Vasilic tied for the low round of the day at Soule Park Golf Course in Ojai, shooting a 3-under-par 68 to help Canyon advance to the CIF-SS Team Championship on Oct. 29 in Temecula.

The Comanches finished third in the CIF Northern Team regional, carding a 410.  Three-time and reigning Century League champion Elisabeth Bernabe posted a 1-over-par 72 for the Comanches.

Foothill, which beat Canyon in the season finale to win the Century League championship, placed fourth with a 414 and will also move onto the Southern Section tournament.

Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks won the Northern regional with a 373, which beat second-place Harvard-Westlake by 30 shots.
