Laguna Beach football athlete Drake Martinez (6-3, 195) will make an official recruiting trip to Tennessee, the senior reports.

“I think Tennessee is after me the most,” Martinez said before practice Tuesday.

Martinez said the Vols are recruiting him to play safety. He also has offers from Nebraska (at safety) and San Diego State (at outside linebacker). He has scheduled a recruiting trip to Nebraska for later this month.

Martinez said he also is receiving interest from Oregon (offense/safety) and USC (outside linebacker).

He has rushed for 639 yards in six games and also has two interceptions and 16 TDs. The Breakers play Estancia in an Orange Coast showdown Friday.
