Tuesday’s Sage Hill-St. Margaret’s match not only had Academy League implications, but also in the CIF-SS Division 3A poll.

Sage Hill started the week No. 1 in the division, followed by St. Margaret’s at No. 2.

Next week, that should change.

After alternating victories through the first four sets, the Tartans (14-4, 2-0) sealed the victory by taking the fifth, 15-11.

Peighton McRobie had 25 kills and 17 digs for St. Margaret’s. Gigi Morally had 19 kills and 25 digs. Ashley Torok had 50 assists.

The teams will meet again Oct. 19 at Sage Hill.
