Football: Tesoro starting cornerback transfers to San Clemente

Tesoro starting cornerback Syd Reynolds (5-10, 160) has transferred to South Coast League rival San Clemente, the senior confirmed Wednesday night.

Reynolds played in Tesoro’s first two games: Compton and Hart.

He enrolled last week at San Clemente and played wide receiver/cornerback in the Tritons’ victory against Dana Hills. Reynolds said he and his family moved into San Clemente’s district boundaries.

Tesoro and San Clemente are ranked third and ninth, respectively, in the county.
