Junior water polo player Todd Denaro of La Jolla High and the powerhouse San Diego Shores club has enrolled at University, Trojans boys coach Andy Coffman said.

Coffman said Denaro (6-1, 185) is a utility player and projects to start.

In 2011, Denaro was a Junior Olympics All-American in the 14-and-under division for Shores.

University, a Division 2 quarterfinalist last season, is a potential Top 10-team in the county. The Trojans play at No. 10 Santa Margarita on Thursday.
