
Beau Hossler made it to the round of 32 at Junior Amateur on Wednesday at The Golf Club of New England in Stratham, N.H., and on Thursday, he will face the player who upset the No. 6 seeded player.
Hossler, the OC Register’s Boys Golfer of the Year, beat Sean Smothers, 4&2, in the first round on Wednesday. Up next is Andrej Bevins, who beat Andrew Bonner 2Up. Bonner qualified for match play after shooting a 2-under 142 in during the stroke play portion of the competition, which put him 10 shots ahead of Bevins.
